<dc:description>In this study, we conducted a survey to clarify the effect of introducing a care robot (silhouette monitoring sensor). The target was 941 inpatients, and the FIM, number of falls, and fall situation were compared. After the introduction, the number of fallers decreased, and the number of fall patients in the low motor FIM group decreased significantly. Also, the number of falls at night in men was significantly reduced. These results suggest that the introduction of a nursing care robot reduces the number of falls, has the effect of preventing falls in the low FIM level group, and is beneficial for patients with low motor FIM who tend to induce indoor falls at night.</dc:description>
