 note = {A survey on 105 freshmen enrolled in a part-time nursing school in Aichi prefecture was conducted. The impression of nursing profession as a profession is a mere title of "qualified" profession, and it has not led to recognizing the essence of a profession. The impression of "independence", which is a stable livelihood of nursing profession influenced on the reason for going on to nursing school, but the impression for “expertise” which is necessity of expert knowledge, judgement and lifelong education was not. It is suggested that students who have entered a part-time nursing school are at a deficient stage of their authentic career development when they decided to go on to nursing school.},
