| 内容記述 | Segi-Gakuen is seated at Shunko-cho, Mizuho-ku of Nagoya. The name of Shunko-cho is derived from Shunko-mon, the former East Gate of Atsuta Shrine, since the area had the command of the gate when the name of the town was settled in 1931. It has been documented that Shunko-mon was founded in 686, the era of Emperor Tenmu. Unfortunatelly the gate was burned down by the aerial attack in 1945 during the World War II. The Japanese letter of Shunko-mon, when it is written in Chinese letter Kanji, means that the gate is gently knocked by Spring when it reaches the gate from the east. Knowing the story and the history of Shunko-mon provides us the deep understanding of Shunko-cho where Segi-Gakuen is located. | |||||
